BeLitha 2025 | Ribbon Magick and Crystal Grids

On Sunday, May 4th, the Divine Warrior Witches community gathered at Crescent Moon Gifts in Tacoma for our annual Beltane Litha combination celebration, lovingly referred to as BeLitha!
We called on the powers of the elements with knot magic, joined together in an energy raising dance, and charged ourselves for the season ahead by forming a human crystal grid.
Continuing the 2025 theme of crystals, clear quartz and citrine were presented and gifted at this event, along with a take home crystal grid kit.
SO BELOW | Beltane and Litha

Bringing hopes and dreams into action, Beltane is a time of letting go with delightful abandon! This sentiment is beautifully displayed by Nerqydd Dragonborne's erotic poem Beltane Bride, which we love to include in this event each year!
Energized after High Priestess Serenity's breathtaking reading, we moved on to discuss how these fertile energies of spring will climax when we arrive at the next sabbat on the wheel, Litha. Also known as Midsummer or the Summer Solstice, Litha will mark the beginning of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and will occur this year on June 20th at 7:42PM PST.

CRYSTALS | Clear Quartz, Citrine, and Crystal Grids

In celebrating two sabbats, we couldn't help but present multiple crystals at this event!
For Beltane, warriors were each gifted a piece of clear quartz, which we charged together during ritual. Quartz is believed to be a powerful amplifier, capable of holding, enhancing, and directing energy. This crystal is also well known for its piezoelectric properties, meaning it can generate an electric charge when mechanical stress is applied. Rowan and Jasper demonstrated this live during the educational portion of our event!
For Litha, warriors were each sent home with a crystal grid kit. Crystal grids have a rich history, with roots extending back to ancient civilizations. Sacred geometry, such as the Flower of Life, Metatron’s Cube, The Seed of Life, and The Sri Yantra, has been used for centuries as a framework to organize and amplify energy. By consciously placing stones in formation, practitioners can harness the energy of the crystals in alignment with the universal patterns of sacred geometry to manifest their goals.
Included with the crystal grid kids were tumbled citrine stones. Carrying the power of the sun, reflecting warmth and positivity, citrine is a wonderful stone for this time of year. It is a popular choice for both attracting success and enhancing personal willpower, and is a go-to crystal for anyone wanting to spark motivation or invite in more light.
THE RITUAL

Together in circle, warriors worked knot magic to bring the energies of the elements into our lives. We tied blessed ribbons around wooden rings to evoke the spirit of the may pole, and then, we danced! Warriors twirled and circled the room to Cawnawyn Mor's Beltane Song. Ribbons waved in the air and both energies and spirits were raised.
As the song came to an end, warriors split off to five points in the room, one for each element, to form a giant pentagram. In formation, we held up our clear quartz crystals and joined together in a powerful chant. The magic flowed through us all, from crystal to crystal, from point to point, leaving us all invigorated and buzzing with energy.
